Can you really ‘erase’ someone?
Can you really, really ‘erase’ someone from your mind because by remembering them make you sad?
I was just finished watching a movie called "Eternal Sunshine of The Spotless Mind". It was a story about a man, Joel Barish, heartbroken that his girlfriend Clementine underwent a procedure to erase him from her memory, decides to do the same. However, as he watches his memories of her fade away, he realizes that he still loves her, and may be too late to correct his mistake.
It was a sad-romance story though. I was crying while watching it...because it reminds me of someone and the memories of him that I really wanted to forget.
After I watched the movie, I was asking to myself...if I have the opportunity to erase him from my memories, will I do that? Will it be a sinful act?
