The accident happened in Cyberjaya this morning. The victim was my friend from HolidayCity.

Innalillahiwainnailaihirojiun

Allahyarhamah Nurzihanie was my friend. She died due to fatal accident this morning in Cyberjaya. I am still shocked with the news. The last time I met her was my last day at HolidayCity. Today when I saw her, she was no longer breathing.

Moga rohnya dicucuri rahmat. Semoga keluarganya tabah menghadapi segalanya. Marilah kita sama - sama sedekahkan Al-Fatihah untuk Allahyarhamah Nurzihanie.

I was at school when I heard the news from ERA radio. The director of 'SEPET', 'MUKHSIN', ‘GUBRA’ has passed away yesterday. Everyone was shocked and sad.

Yasmin Ahmad was a talented director. Her piece of work touch our hearts, inspired us and teach us in its own magical ways. Yasmin Ahmad will always be remembered in our heart.

Marilah kita sama-sama sedekahkan Al-Fatihah untuk Allahyarhamah Yasmin Ahmad. Moga rohnya dicucuri rahmat. Al-Fatihah…

A Note For Myself

Picture Credit : A Blank Note

During my free time, especially during weekend (macamlah bz sgtkan?), I always have a lot of things in my mind that I wish I can share with all here. But I always end up doing something else.

Most of the time, I will tell the stories to my dear 'Won-Won'. If you have seen the latest movie of Harry Potter - Half Blood Prince; you know who is 'Won-Won' is. A nick name that I give to my 'other-half' - Teddy Bear.

He is the one who I always talk to, seek for advice or anything that I want to share with. (Thanks Won-Won ;p ). All right, maybe I list down everything here and when I have free time, I will write about them all. (Just a note for myself).
  1. Meet The Parent
  2. PPSMI
  3. Part Time Work
  4. Movie Reviews
  5. Books, Books, Books
  6. SPP Interview
  7. Get Married
p/s : Owh, I'm so lazy to update these lists. Hey, it's up to me, right? Okay, I've decided not to do it. Muaha!

Manchester United VS Malaysia

Picture Credit : Malaysia National Football Team

I am not a fan of football. I don't know the rules. I don't know how to play football. Honestly, I just like to watch the players instead; David Beckham, Micheal Owen, Thierry Henry, Michael Ballack, Cristiano Ronaldo and the others handsome, gorgeous, tough football players and the lists goes on.

But, last Saturday, the friendly game between Malaysia and Manchester United; it was just not about watching at the good-looking players but more on cheering up the Malaysian players from far. The previous game, it was a shameful memory though. 0 - 6. Apart from the scarred memory, all the Malaysian still hoping to see some miracles at our side.

Luckily, it has been paid proudly. 2 - 3. Eventhough that we lost 1 point to MU. But still it was a proud one. Kudos! Congrate to all Malaysia Football Players. Our spirits and strength will be always with you.

Back Pain

I am on medical leave (MC) today. I had a bad back pain this morning. My body ached and I could not get up from my bed. This back pain has been going on for a few months but as usual, I just ignore it.

But this morning, it really hurt and I have to inform my Penolong Kanan (PK) that I will not coming to school today. So, I went for a check up at a clinic. Luckily, nothing serious.

So, from now on, I must give extra attention to my health.

The Pursuit of Happiness (Ends Here)

Picture Credit : The Pursuit of Happiness

Have you always wanted to be happy? Have you always dreamt of wearing a smile deep within you instead of just on the outside? Well, look no further. Below are 4 Top Tips for achieving that quintessential sparkle in your eyes and spring in your steps - without even falling in love with another human being!

1. Focus on the things that make you happy.

Why keep dwelling on the things that make you feel bad/sad/mad? It's not going to gain you anything except perhaps a migraine of epic proportions, so if you can't change it, move on and stop thinking about it.

2. Don't focus on what you don't have, focus on what you have.

The mistake that most of us make is comparing ourselves to the more fortunate. Try comparing yourself to the less fortunate for once, and you'll see that there are many things to be thankful for. If you think you have it bad, just remember that there are others out there who don't have it as good as you.

3. Sod all those judgmental, narrow-minded people.

Don't pay much attention - or better still, don't pay any attention at all - to what others think of you or say about you. Don't dignify them with a response or a reaction. Show them how little they and their little opinion mean to you by ignoring them completely. How you lead your life is your prerogative. Why you do something is none of anyone else's business. You don't owe anyone any explanation. Whatever people say/think about you or what you do is irrelevant. So just do whatever makes you happy and if people have a problem with it, it's theirs, not yours. I mean, why should you fret over them? Let God deal with them accordingly. One of the best pieces of advice I've received from my mother is this: "Jangan layan orang gila, nanti kita pun boleh jadi gila. Biar dia meroyan sorang2." (Don't entertain crazy people, lest we become crazy as well. Let them rave and rant all they want.)

4. Learn to let go. Don't dwell on the past.

Every single heartache, heartbreak, hurt, misdeed, wrongdoing - it's all in the past and there's nothing you can do to change it. Live in the moment, after all, life is too short to keep focusing on life's negativities. There is so much to live for, so why waste your time and energy on things you can't change?

So go on, go forth and be happy!

Think happy, be happy.

Copy from: Kak Rozita Jaafar Sekdek

P/S: I really like the post no# 4.

We sometime define Happiness in one perspective only. Because we have been designed to think that if we have certain things (career, salary, relationship, marriage), we are definitely be happy; which sometimes it is not entirely true. The most important key of happiness is to be grateful and thankful for what we have.

Everything that happened has it own reasons. If you feel sad or down, try your best to change it and always pray to God. Semua itu anugerah atau ujian dari Tuhan. Semua yang berlaku ada hikmah disebaliknya. Enjoy everything that you do and live life to the fullest.

So, anyone out there especially the "anonymous"; just learns to let it go. There are other better people out there for us. We just need to look. Be happy. Enjoy life. Do things that you like to do. Go vacation. Change your style. Read a good motivation book. Go watch movies. Make new friends. And don't forget to pray. That the most important thing. Insya Allah, your fate will change :)

10 Easy Tips & Techniques to Increase the Traffic to Your Blog

Traffic is the key to any successful online business. The following is a list of 10 tips and techniques to increase your traffic to your blog greatly.

1. Post to your blog often.

You don’t want to post too often, but you want to post enough that keeps people coming back. The downside of posting too much is that people have to scroll down in order to see your posts, most won’t. They’ll only read your very top post.

2. Submit your blog to blog directories.

Submitting your blog to blog directories is crucial because, it gets your blog link out there for people to see and click on.

3. Use compelling and interesting headlines.

Thats the first thing people see before they read your articles is the headline. If its compelling people will probably stick around and read more than that of a boring headline.

4. Network!

This is very important if you want to drive traffic to your blog. Email other blogs, attend expos and events. Do a link exchange with them.

5. Leave comments on other blogs and link back to your site.

I’ve noticed that this technique has really helped drive traffic to the blog.

6. Set up your email signature with you blog link in it.
This is another really good tip. Send out tons of emails per day and each email has blog link in the signature.

7. Post on Craig’s List and Ebay with your blog link attached.

8. Post often to forums and link your blog with the signature file.

Signatures can help all around the board.

9. Sign up for free linking sites.

Free linking site such as Text-Link-Ads.

10. Most importantly create original and virgin content.

Nobody will stay at your site if they see that all you do is just copy things from other websites. There is a lot of this, and its unfortunate because then people never come back because they assume that you will always just copy content that they’ve already seen.

9 Ways to Make Money On-line

Are you making money hand over fist with your website? If you are then you don’t need to bother reading this article because it is not for you. If you are like most of us your website sales are slow and unpredictable and you need to think of new ways to make money online without taking more time and effort. All of your time should be dedicated to producing your product, right? Well, here are just a few ways to make a little bit or a lot of money online without any effort.

1. Affiliates

Sign up to become an affiliate for other businesses that are on the net. I only sign up with the companies that I honestly would recommend to anyone. All that you have to do is refer your customers to these sites. Once one of my referrals makes a purchase, I receive a small payment. With some of the affiliate programs the fee is quite large.

2. Google Ads

I was not too sure about this one but I signed up and I am now convinced. The first week that I had Google ads on my website I made $.18 and the next week I made $6.45! Wow! Big boost. If I keep this up, I just may be able to pay for my web host by the end of the month!

3. Google Search

Works close to the same way as the ads. People use your search tool, make a purchase and then you are compensated.

4. Amazon

Another great tool that will trickle in a few dollars here and there, all for 10 minutes of your time putting a little code into your website and Amazon does the rest.

5. Selling Ad Space

You could sell ad space if you have a site that has high traffic.

6. Selling Subscriptions to Your Newsletter

If you have a newsletter that has high demand information, you could charge for your newsletter.

7. Selling Ad Space in Your Newsletter

Sell ad space in in your newsletter. Same drill as with ad space on your website. Just put a box on your newsletter with a note inside it that says "Your Banner Could Go Here" Then have a page that tells how many subscriber that you have, how often your newsletter goes out and what type of content it usually contains plus the price per ad.

8. Selling E-Books

Do you know something about your craft or hobby that you know people would pay to learn as well? Then sell it in an e-book. What a great way to make a little extra money. You take the time to write a good quality e-book then just fill the orders. You could even set it up so that once the e-book order has been processed and paid for, it goes out automatically using an auto responder without you even having to lift a finger, except to go to the bank to collect your money.

9. Consulting - Offer your services

Do you sell wedding supplies and know all of the best suppliers around? Do a little research and offer your services as a wedding coordinator. Offer your assistance to the people that want to plan their own wedding, but need a little bit of help.

Remember, you wont get rich with just one of these programs, but you just may make a tidy little sum every month with a combination of all of them.

8 Steps to Take When You Feel Like Giving Up

Picture Credit : Never give up!

Taking the easy road is nice for a while, but for talented, motivated people it isn’t enough. To find satisfaction you’ll need to set ambitious goals, solve challenging problems, and develop strengths you may not know you have.

Although the hard road is more fulfilling, it isn’t all champagne and victory laps. There will be times when you feel beaten and depressed — times when quitting looks like the best option. There is no formula for dealing with hard times, but these 8 steps will help you understand your predicament and determine the best course of action.

1. Take a Break

One reason we get down ourselves is fatigue. When you’re tired everything is harder. Working your tail off for extended periods will wear you down if you aren’t careful. You’ll also get bored. Fatigue and boredom combine to cause burnout — one of the biggest reasons people quit. When faced with burnout, the best thing to do is take a break. Cut yourself off completely. Do absolutely nothing for a day or two. What’s the worst that could happen? By allowing yourself to recover you’ll be more productive in the long run.

2. Step Back

Sometimes we get so absorbed in our own sphere that we develop a distorted picture of reality. When you feel like giving up, there’s a good chance that a) things aren’t nearly as bad as they seem, and b) there’s a simple solution that you’re overlooking. When things seem bleak, distance yourself from the situation to gain an accurate perspective. What would someone without any emotional involvement do? Asking this question will help you make optimal decisions.

3. Do Your Research

The only constant in the universe is change, but when you’re plugging away with your head down it’s easy not to notice. People often make decisions based on outdated assumptions made months, or even years earlier. To develop a course of action, you’ll need to know where you stand. Stop to evaluate your position.

* What do you have?

* What do you want?

* How has the market adjusted?

* What opportunities still exist?

* What new opportunities have arisen?

By taking stock of the current situation, you’ll discover if your urge to quit is a passing whim or the correct decision.

4. Consult an Expert

When your knowledge base is insufficient you should seek an expert opinion. This doesn’t mean you have to make contact with a world class expert, anyone who knows more than you will be able to help. Think of friends, family, and business associates. Have any of them been in your position before? The web can also be a great resource, just be careful who you trust. Check out relevant forums or email a reputable blogger. I’m consistently impressed with the effort people expend to help total strangers.

5. Re-evaluate Your Strategy

Once you’re well informed, apply that knowledge to revamping your strategy. If you feel like giving up, you might be doing something wrong. This is the time to pour over your efforts and determine what works.

* What actions have lead to the greatest benefit?

* What mistakes have been made?

* What can be improved?

By answering these questions you’ll fine tune your strategy. The urge to give up is a blessing when it leads to analysis and constructive adjustments.

6. Change Course

Knowing what’s wrong and how you can fix it is a relief. Unlike an invisible monster hovering over you, an exposed problem can be directly assaulted. Once you’ve determined a change needs to be made, implement it full force. Don’t hesitate or dwell on past mistakes. Trust your own judgment and deal with new issues as they arise.

7. Push Through the Dip

In some cases you might feel like giving up even though you’re doing all the right things. This is called “the dip” — the plateau that separates the average from the best in the world. Knowing what to do when you hit the dip is so important, Seth Godin wrote a book on it. In you’ve hit the dip and you can honestly say that going forward is the best decision, lower your shoulder and plow ahead until you reach the other side. It might not be pleasant but the rewards are tremendous. If you make it.

8. Quit

We don’t have thoughts and emotions for nothing. Sometimes quitting is the best decision. Maybe you didn’t know what you were getting into. Maybe your priorities have changed. Maybe you’d be better doing something else. If you know deep down that quitting is the right move, do it. Don’t hesitate because of previously invested effort. That’s a sunk cost. If you ignore your better judgment and continue you’ll waste more time and energy.
